Innovairre Communications in Bedford County expanding, will add at least 12 jobs
Read full story in The News & Advance...Innovairre Communications LLC, a global manufacturer of direct mail fundraising campaign materials for nonprofits, will create at least 12 new jobs in Bedford County, according to the governor’s office.
Gov. Ralph Northam announced Innovairre’s $4.85 million investment in Bedford County in a Tuesday news release.
The Cherry Hill, New Jersey-based company has a facility on Elkton Farm Road in Forest that used to be Mail America Communications. It will add state-of-the-art digital printing equipment, requiring the creation of at least 12 new jobs and retraining 72 existing employees with support from the Virginia Jobs Investment Program, according to the release.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Bedford County and the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance to secure the project. The Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission approved $65,000 in Tobacco Region Opportunity Funds.
“We’re thrilled that Innovairre selected Bedford County for this expansion,” Mickey Johnson, chairman of the Bedford County Economic Development Authority, said in the release. “The company has had a presence in Forest for 28 years, and we are proud to support its growth here.”
