We've brought back our acclaimed morning speakers' series with special guests that provide local insights\, business tips\, and of course\, a delicious hot breakfast. At Business @ Breakfast you'll also meet new members and build business relationships.\n\n\n\nGuest speaker: Stephanie Reed\, Mayor\, City of Lynchburg\nStephanie currently serves as one of the three At-Large members on Lynchburg City Council. Her term began January 3\, 2023\, and will run until December 31st\, 2026.\n\n\n\nStephanie has spent the majority of her career in business\, broadcast journalism\, and ministry. She grew up in Virginia and earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas. In 2001\, Stephanie married her husband Dale\, who was actively serving as a Colonel in the United States Air Force. She spent 18 years as an Air Force spouse and raised her family all over the world. Stephanie is a dedicated mother of four incredible children. Their family journey has been and continues to be guided by their faith.\n\nThe exposure to different parts of the world has strengthened her deep love for her country. After her husband's retirement from the Air Force\, Stephanie felt a calling back to Virginia and has since made Lynchburg her family's home.\n\nThroughout her career\, Stephanie has been a substitute teacher\, women's ministry public speaker\, and owner of a furniture restoration business while she lived in Germany. She currently operates a real estate investment company in Lynchburg. \n\nStephanie was elected as Mayor of the City of Lynchburg on January 4\, 2023 and will be in this position until December 31\, 2024.
