DESCRIPTION:The Retail Merchants Association (RMA) of Lynchburg is offering ''Christmas in July'' as part of its ''BUY LOCAL'' educational campaign.   We encourage the community to support our local resources during this fun event in July.\n\nTo participate\, shoppers can send receipts (or copies of receipts) to RMA for purchases from locally owned businesses and franchises made from July 1 to July 31\, 2012. Each receipt will count as one prize entry. Text marketing will also be part of this campaign.  Big box stores will be excluded for this particular campaign\; franchises will not.  NO utilities\, banking\, insurance\, groceries or mortgages will be accepted - only retail\, restaurant and local services for home and property will be accepted.  Photocopies\, faxes\, scans and e-mails will be accepted as long as the company name and a July date are clearly visible on the receipt\, and your contact information is legible.  Winners will be drawn at the RMA Local Business EXPO   merely part of our educational campaign and BUY LOCAL initiative to draw attention to Local Businesses. We appreciate and respect all business partners in our community and all they bring to our area in the way of jobs and tax revenue making Lynchburg the wonderful place that it is.
