DESCRIPTION:Enjoy walking your dog for fun and a great cause on a grass clipped 2.5 K trail through apple orchards and pastures amidst beautiful fall foliage at Johnson's Orchards at 2122 Sheep Creek Road\, Bedford.  There is a $5 charge for each participant canine or human.  All proceeds go to www.chaseawayK9cancer.org.   Refreshments  available for you and your canine companion.  If choosing not to walk you may make a contribution in honor of or in memory of a pet or friend.  T-shirts for people and bandanas for dogs as long as supply lasts.  There will be a play yard for the dogs sponsored by All-American Mutt rescue.  Also a book signing by Maxine Wyatt who has written a book about cancer from a dog's viewpoint.  Ridgewood  Animal Hospital will be present to discuss how to be your dog's best friend in detection\, prevention\, and treatment of cancer.  Remember that one out of three dogs die from K9 cancer.\nThanks to our generous sponsors who insure all proceeds go directly to the cause.
