DESCRIPTION:Lessons from Leaders is designed to connect the region's young professionals with business leaders to offer professional development\, career growth and networking opportunities.\n\n\n\nThe guest speakers will be Megan Lucas and Christine Kennedy. This dynamic duo is dedicated to executing the initiatives that improve our region's economy through their leadership at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. \n\n\n\nMegan is a seasoned community and economic development professional with a career in the industry that spans more than 20 years and includes the states of Tennessee\, Nebraska and Virginia. Today\, Megan is the CEO and Chief Economic Development Officer of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. She is Chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute Board of Trustees and was voted a Top 50 Economic Development Professional by Consultant Connect. \n\n\n\nChristine is a leadership and life purpose coach and the COO/Executive Vice President of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. Her diverse background includes customer service\, sales\, leadership and non-profit management and ministry. She is responsible for many workforce and economic development initiatives at the Alliance including the nationally award winning Leadership Lynchburg program which trains and equips high potential leaders from organizations throughout the region.\n\n \nCost to attend is $25 and includes lunch.
