The breakfast will feature Leila Aridi Afas as keynote speaker.  \n\n\n\nCost includes breakfast and is $20 for Alliance members and $30 General Admission.\n\n\n\nRSVP required by September 25 to 434.845.5966\, online or email info@lynchburgregion.org.\n\n\n\nPlease remember that Alliance policy requires that reservations be billed unless canceled 48 hours prior to the event.\n\n\n\nMore about the speaker:  \n\nAs the Director of International Public Policy\, Leila collaborates with Toyota's external affairs and corporate strategy teams to develop and advocate positions on global issues\, as well as provide insight and guidance on geopolitical trends and market developments.  \n\n\n\nLeila most recently served as an appointee for President Obama at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).  In that role\, she promoted global sales of U.S. equipment and technology through market development\, client advocacy and interagency coordination.   \n\n\n\nMs. Afas earned a Master's degree in international economics from Columbia University where she was awarded a Program Assistant Fellowship.  She also earned a B.A. in Political Science and English from James Madison University.
