DESCRIPTION:Over the past 20 years\, Team Genesis has helped over 100 students receive college athletic scholarship\, and has jumpstarted 3 NBA careers.  In 2009\, the headquarters was moved to Lynchburg\, and we have seen an amazing impact in the development of the young men and women that participate in our various programs.  \n\nSo what exactly does Team Genesis do?  And how will the opening of Genesis Academy\, the all-boys\, all-basketball school\, impact this community?  \n\nJoin us on Thursday\, June 14\, for a community forum breakfast!  This is a free breakfast at the Chamber of Commerce.\nDirector of Operations\, Amanda Williams\, will speak on "Dumb Jocks": Things You Never Knew About College Athletic Scholarships and How Area Students Can Get Them\, then open up the discussion for you to give us your advice and ideas in areas such as:\n\n    Educational Expansion \n    Media and Marketing\n    Athletic Development \n    Event Planning\n    ...and more!\n\nWe recognize that we as an organization need "eyes and ears" in the community giving us feedback on the ways that we can have the greatest impact.
