SUMMARY:Toastmasters Area 11 Speech Contests
DESCRIPTION:On March 24th\, 2012\, all five of the Lynchburg area Toastmasters Clubs\, along with other clubs in the area\, extending as far as Danville\, will send their respective club champions to the Forest Library to compete in two exciting speech contests.  The first contest will be the Table Topics Contest\, in which contestants are asked to compose and deliver an impromptu 1-2 minute speech.  The contestant who delivers the best organized and skillful  response will be awarded 1st place and will move on to the next level of regional competition.  The second contest will be the International Speech Contest\, in which contestants deliver a 5-7 minute prepared speech in the hopes of advancing to the next round of competition.  Come see some awesome examples of oratorical skills from fellow members of the community.
