DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Alexi Pappas\n\n2016 Olympian and award-winning actor and writer.\n\n\n\nWe're once again partnering with the Virginia 10-Miler Committee to bring you the launch of the 46th Genworth 10 Miler.\n\n\n\nThis year's lunch speaker is Alexi Pappas\, 2016 Olympian and this year's Special Guest "elite" 10-Miler. Pappas represented Greece in the 2016 Olympics setting a national record of 31:36 for 10k and is currently training for the marathon distance and to ultimately compete in the 2020 Olympics. \n\n\n\nShe co-created and starred in the feature film "Olympic Dreams" alongside Nick Kroll which will be premiering at SXSW 2019. \n\n\n\nThis special luncheon is open to men and women.  Cost is $25 for Alliance members and Lynchburg Road Runners Club members and $35 general admission. Reservations are required by Sept. 20 so RSVP today by registering online\, calling (434) 845-5966 or emailing info@lynchburgregion.org.  \n\n\n\nPlease email Heath Barret or call (434) 515-3365 for partnership opportunities.\n\n\n\nAlliance policy requires that all reservations be billed unless canceled 48 hours prior to the event.
