The RN MDS Coordinator assists the Administrative Director of Nursing Services with ensuring that documentation in the center meets Federal, State, and Certification guidelines. The MDS RN coordinates the RAI process assuring the timeliness, and completeness of the MDS, CAAs, and Interdisciplinary Care Plan.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred. Excellent knowledge of Case-Mix, the Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement, as required. Thorough understanding of the Quality Indicator process. Knowledge of the OBRA regulations and Minimum Data Set. Knowledge of the care planning process.Job Specific Details:
Full-time, exempt position. Monday thru Friday only; no weekends or on call rotation.
Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and RN licensed in the state of practice required.
