Patti has spent the last 30 years in healthcare and has held the position of CEO at Bedford since 2009.  As the hospital’s first female CEO, Patti has been instrumental in driving change, growth and stability during her tenure. The impact of her leadership will make a difference for generations to come. Ms. Jurkus’ last day with Centra will be Friday, July 5th.

“It has been an honor to serve this hospital and our community, “says Patti Jurkus, outgoing CEO of Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital. “I have been truly blessed to work with the amazing team at Bedford and I am so proud of the success we have obtained. I look forward to the continued growth under the leadership of Mr. Bass.”

To serve in Bedford is an honor and we welcome Bill as he joins us in this new capacity.”
Bill will begin his transition to Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital this week.

“Patti was a tremendous leader and I will work hard to continue her momentum,” says Bass. “We have a strong, supportive board, highly-skilled medical staff and dedicated employees. I look forward to working with this team and being a part of the Bedford Community.”
