Lynchburg’s downtown circulator is set for the chopping block.

The Greater Lynchburg Transit Company board voted Wednesday to advertise a public hearing on ending the Hopper service June 30. That’s the date a $117,820 state grant runs out.

The GLTC board will hold a public hearing at 8:30 a.m. June 5 at the GLTC Transfer Station, 800 Kemper St.
