In just four seconds R.S. Payne Elementary School fifth grader Hannah Kim put together four mathematical problems that together equated to the number 24.
Hannah, 10, tapped the card in the middle of the table before her three opponents during the finals of the 24 Game competition.
She rattled off, “20 plus four equal 24, 14 minus 10 equals four, 10 times two equals 20, 20 plus four equals 24.”
About 65 fourth and fifth graders from across Lynchburg City Schools’ 11 elementary schools participated in the 24 Game competition Monday night at Linkhorne Middle School.
