The home and resting place of former Virginia governor Patrick Henry has named the first female CEO in its 75-year run. The board of directors for Red Hill, the Patrick Henry National Memorial, unanimously affirmed Hope Marstin on March 14.
Marstin has been with Red Hill for 10 years, and despite her background in finance, rather than history, she said that once she got there she “fell in love.” Marstin has been the chief operating officer since 2015, and has seen visitors from every state come and go.
“It’s a lot of fun to see people come in the door from all over,” Marstin said.
