UScellular Announces $20,000 Vacation Sweepstakes Winner

UScellular is excited to announce that the winner of its $20,000 Vacation Sweepstakes is Reese Sadler from Sprout Springs, Va. Reese was presented with a giant $20,000 check at a special celebration held at UScellular Authorized Agent ANW Wireless in Appomattox on Saturday, March 23.
The sweepstakes was part of a campaign from UScellular that encourages people to take a break from devices and celebrate human connection over digital use called US Mode. The contest encouraged people across the country to stop scrolling and start dreaming for the chance to win a distraction-free, $20k vacation to their dream destination to connect with family and friends.
Entries were received May 6, 2023, through January 31, 2024. UScellular customers and non-customers ages 18 and older were eligible to enter and no purchase was necessary. And out of thousands of entries, Reese Sadler was the winner.
Smartphones have become an essential part of everyday life, with many Americans spending a significant amount of time staring at their screens, but according to a 2023 consumer survey commissioned by UScellular, 41% shared that they could use some time away from their phone and nearly a third of people want to take an intentional break from their phone.
