As grandparents, we want to do everything we can to protect the children and grandchildren we love. But today's youth are growing up in a world that looks very different from just a generation ago. From social media and gaming platforms to online grooming and exploitation, understanding the risks can feel overwhelming.
Join Freedom 4/24 and the YMCA for a free Equipped Workshop designed specifically for grandparents and trusted adults who want to learn how to recognize the signs of human trafficking and exploitation and understand how to respond if concerns arise.
Many children who experience exploitation never tell anyone because they don't know who to trust or how to ask for help. Grandparents and other trusted adults can play a critical role in recognizing warning signs, creating safe spaces for conversation, and connecting children to the help they need.
This workshop will provide practical information and tools to help you protect the next generation and become a stronger advocate for the children you love.
