Garagefest -

WHAT IS GARAGEFEST? A FREE and exciting 2nd annual event in Lynchburg, Saturday, October 5th from 12-8pm, located in the garage behind SunTrust on Main Street downtown Lynchburg. ITS MISSON? To bring people to the downtown art district to enjoy all things "garage", through various mediums of art, music, food, local wares, fashion and demonstrations. This year's event will showcase musical performances by Jeff Carl, Whoa Bear, Michael Coleman, and DJ Ed. It will host an urban art show, chalk art contest, "cart art" exhibit, graffiti art demos and chainsaw carving. A Beer Garden will offer craft brews from Blue Ridge Beverage and food will be made available from local vendors. This event is not-for-profit, and proceeds will benefit the Young Leaders Society of United Way of Central Virginia Visit www.garagefest.co
