From Manager to Leader - (Facilitator - Christine Kennedy) - Wednesday, August 27, 8:00am-12:00pm, $145 RM 5118 or Friday, October 3, 8:00am-12:00pm, $145 RM 5118 - In this course, first time managers and supervisors will learn the skills necessary to lead self and teams and not just manage projects. Taking the core values taught in Leadership Lynchburg, this proven curriculum will help attendees think about their influence, ability to lead and provide foundational practices to employ daily to lead effectively. Attendees will walk away with a greater understanding of the need for personal growth as a leader, the power of influence and how to positively impact the workplace. Additionally, using principles from several well-known leadership books, managers will create a personal action plan to begin their journey from manager to leader.
