Troops, Trains, and Travel in World War II Transportation was critical to supplying the war effort and bringing an end to a war that defined America. Discover the effectiveness of the railroad in World War II from carrying supplies and munitions to taking care of traveling troops. This lecture is presented by the National D-Day Memorial in partnership with the Virginia Museum of Transportation. There is no charge to attend, though donations are appreciated.
