SAFE Strides Runner/Walker Personal Safety Workshop -

As part of the S.A.F.E. Strides initiative, AREVA is planning a runner/walker personal safety workshop. A representative from the Lynchburg Police Department Crime Prevention office and certified martial arts instructors at International Karate Academy will lead the workshop. The event will take place on Saturday, September 20, from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. at International Karate Academy, 2820 Linkhorne Drive - Suite B, Lynchburg. There is no charge for admission but please contact International Karate Academy at 434-384-0513 (or email Intkarateacademy@aol.com) to register for the workshop by September 17.
