“New Credit Card Processing Requirements for Merchants”
Join us for coffee and pastries as we learn important new details impacting all merchants accepting credit card payments. The US is replacing magnetic striped credit cards with chip technology, called EMV. This new system will help fight counterfeit credit and debit card fraud. Merchants will be required to update their systems to accept chip and signatures at a minimum or be liable for any fraudulent charges that may otherwise occur. Find out valuable details and how to protect your business by attending. Admission is free but due to limited space, reservations are required by July 31. Reserve your spot today by calling (434) 845-5966, emailing info@lynchburgchamber.org. or registering online. This event is co-sponsored by Lynchburg Regional Chamber and First National Bank.
