Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, for the return of Art of Pairing, Bower Center for the Arts' signature fundraising event, as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary with a festive Louisiana-inspired evening, Bower at the Bayou. This special event honors our founding father and major benefactor, Dr. John Bower, whose vision and generosity helped establish Bower Center as a cornerstone of arts and culture in our community. 

Inspired by Dr. Bower's Mississippi roots and one of his favorite early Bower Center traditions, a lively crawfish festival, this year's event will transform the galleries into a blend of the colorful French Quarter and the relaxed beauty of the Louisiana bayou. Guests will enjoy an immersive evening filled with art, music, food, beverages and celebration while supporting Bower Center's mission to bring meaningful arts programming to our region. 

We're excited to welcome back Music Road Co., a collective of accomplished musicians known for their energetic performances and genre-blending sound. Combining original music and select covers, the band delivers a vibrant fusion of funk, rock, island reggae, afrobeat, and Latin influences. With an engaging stage presence and a passion for getting audiences on their feet, Music Road Co. is united by one simple philosophy: music should feel good and spread positive vibes. Their high-energy performance will keep the celebration moving all evening long.

Guests will savor authentic bayou flavors from Bullet Bowls Food Truck & Catering, featuring a delicious variety of Creole cuisine straight from the bayou. From mouthwatering Southern favorites to bold Louisiana-inspired dishes, the evening's culinary offerings are sure to delight
