On Thursday, October 6th, and Friday, October 7th, Patrick Henry’s Red Hill will host two Days of Living History for Home-schooled Students. We have openings for 100 students per day, so it is a ‘first-come, first-serve’ registration! Interpretive sessions will run at 30 minute intervals with a break for lunch, so please pack your lunch. Picnic tables are available on the grounds; however, seating is limited so bring a blanket.
We are pleased to have award winning author Jenny L. Cote (www.epicorderoftheseven.com) as our special guest here for a children’s creative writing workshop on Thursday and Friday afternoons after living history concludes. Please let us know if you plan to participate! If you plan on participating, please call or send an emailrequest to register you, your child(ren), and/or your homeschool group. Space is limited – you must receive a confirmation in order to participate – so we encourage you to respond early.
