What's New in Alzheimer's Research: Putting the Pieces Together
Doors open at 7:30 am. Event begins at 8:30 am. Presenters include Rebecca Edlemayer, PhD, Alzheimer's Association, Meghan Mattos, PhD, RN and Ishan C. Williams, PhD UVA School of Nursing, Chris Nufer, Kim Tarantino, Rhonda Zingraff of JMU and The Lindsay Institute for Innovations in Caregiving, and Karen Garner, Virginia Advocacy Manager of the Alzheimer's Association.
Subjects covered are: Progress and Strides in Alzheimer's Research, Cultural Perspectives in Cognitive Impairment and Turning your Passion into Action.
Your choice of one of two break-out sessions will be offered: Caregiving and Techology Panel, which includes Chris Nufer, Kim Tarantino and Rhonda Zingraff or Dementia Care Practice Recommendations by Annette Clark, Alzheimer's Association.
