About Us

Charlottesville Ballet is the Resident Dance Company at the Academy Center of the Arts and a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving Central Virginia since 2007. The Ballet has a unique mission of health and wellness with a professional company of dancers of all shades, shapes, and sizes. The Ballet partners with Lynchburg arts institutions to create spectacular performances and serves the greater Lynchburg community with free outreach performances and educational events.
