Since 1992, Good Samaritan has been the only non-profit, community-based hospice serving southwest Virginia — and that independence shows in everything they do. Every decision is driven by mission, not profit. We offer three interconnected services: Hospice focuses on comfort and quality of life for those with advanced illness; Palliative Care provides symptom relief at any stage of serious illness, even alongside curative treatment; and Home Health delivers skilled nursing, therapy, and recovery support wherever a patient calls home. Care is available around the clock, and for patients without insurance, Good Sam provides services regardless of ability to pay. Grief support continues for families for over a year after a loved one's passing. Local. Nonprofit. Compassionate.
