About Us

Founded in 1920, the Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg is one of Central Virginia's oldest service organizations and has spent more than a century investing in the children and future of our community. Through scholarships, Service Leadership Programs such as Terrific Kids, Builders Club, and Key Club, and hands-on community projects, our members work to improve the world one child and one community at a time. Our club has a proud history of community impact, including support for the Kiwanis Centennial Playground at Riverfront Park, educational opportunities for local students, and countless service initiatives benefiting Lynchburg-area families. We meet on the first and third Fridays of each month at noon at Acorn Hill Lodge, and we would love to welcome you as our guest at an upcoming meeting
