About Us

Legacy College, Inc. and Legacy Education Center is a 501C3 institute designed around the belief that education and economic empowerment are the strongest ways to tackle poverty. LEC recruits individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and assists them to overcome the hurdles and barriers preventing them from getting an education and career worthy employment. LEC works with employers to match students to career worthy jobs and then continues to mentor and coach employees until they graduate from the LEC program. This support system gives the LEC customers (students and businesses) a greater chance of success. LEC focuses on finding aspirational individuals from diverse and disadvantaged populations and grooms them for success before and during their introduction to the workforce. LEC recruits non-consumers of higher education and assist them in attaining the financial support needed to attend college and provides the educational foundation and study skills needed for success.
