Shop Safe, Shop Small, Support Local Social Media Contest
This winter we’re encouraging everyone to shop safe, shop small, and support our local businesses! We've launched a campaign to give away a special item each month to someone who is doing just that! For November, we’re excited to give away a Peterson G8E Series Vent-Free Log Set with remote, valued at $658 from our friends at Foster Fuels.
Here are the rules if you would like to participate. Please share this campaign to encourage people to shop with our region's businesses.
- Follow the Alliance on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
- Shop at any one of our region’s businesses, restaurants, or retailers and post showing how you’re supporting local businesses from Nov. 11 to Nov. 29. (This could be a receipt, a photo of a purchase, or receiving a service . . . get creative!).
- Use the hashtags #ShopLocalLYH and #LocalForTheHolidays
That's it! Participants can also submit multiple entries by shopping at more than one place and posting! The first winner will be announced November 30. Next month, we will be giving away a two-night complimentary stay at the beautiful Virginian Hotel.
