The 2022 Virginia Cantaloupe Festival, presented by Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital and URW Community Federal Credit Union, and hosted by the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce, will be held
Friday, July 22, 5-10 pm, at Berry Hill Resort and Conference Center.

Your $40 ticket allows unlimited beverages, corn, cantaloupe, ice cream, and premium entertainment.

The cantaloupe and corn are grown in Halifax County by Reese Farms, Inc. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of options, and food trucks will serve from 5 pm to 9:45 pm.

Kicking off the fun at 5 pm, The Konnection Band will take the stage to bring the party with their signature sound. The Konnection Band is no stranger to Southern Virginia; the popular, premier party band is known for their high-energy performances and engaging the crowd. They play a wide variety of music, including Top 40, Rock, Country, R & B, Beach, and Oldies.

Crawford & Power will headline the 2022 festival with their downhome, nostalgic sound. Crawford & Power has roots in country, Americana, and southern rock. Their unique approach to a fading genre has been lauded as a breath of fresh air amidst the commercialization of sacred American music genres. The duo has already opened for various artists, including The Marshall Tucker Band, Willie Nelson, Travis Tritt, The Charlie Daniels Band, and Luke Combs. Crawford & Power will play well known, as well as some hits like “Play a Hank Jr. Song” and “Take Me Back.”
