The staff at Gleaning For The World is inviting business owners, pastors, local leaders, and area residents to visit their Volunteer Center on August 2, 2019, from 11:30am until 2pm for a free, educational, Active Shooter Response training event. (Light refreshments will be served.)

Professional trainer, Marko Galbreath will give an in-depth presentation in awareness and active shooter response training. This training goes well beyond the typical “run away, hide from the shooter, or fight the bad guy” instructions. Normally, this type of course would cost $130 per person, however, because of the popularity of Galbreath’s training sessions, this is the fourth consecutive year that Gleaning will be offering this event for free to the public.
 
Galbreath, the owner and instructor at T4Tactics.com, has traveled long and far to educate people on how to respond in an active shooter setting. Galbreath is a retired Police Sergeant and a former SWAT Team member. He has worked for the FBI / DEA as a Task Force Member. He has been a Marine Unit Supervisor, a Hostage Negotiator Supervisor, and a Special Unit Supervisor. Recently, he’s presented this type of safety seminars in Orlando, Florida, Greensboro, North Carolina, Chicago, Illinois, Houston, Texas, and more!
 
Due to the nature of the topic, Galbreath recommends that any children in attendance should be ages 12 and older, and accompanied by an adult.
