Bluegrass, Barbecue and Brew Festival -
Join us for the Second Annual Bluegrass, Barbecue & Brew Festival at Red Hill... embracing the flavors and sounds of southern Virginia at the home of Virginia's passionate patriot and fiery fiddler! At Patrick Henry's Red Hill, last home and burial place of America's first patriot, visitors will enjoy the beautiful grounds while listening to three bluegrass bands - Tara Mills with Strings Attached, The Bluegrass Brothers, and the Darrell Webb Band- eating delicious local barbecue, shopping with a variety of artisans (from Conneticut, New Jersey, and Virginia) and enjoying craft beer and ale from Legend, Starr Hill, and Devil's Backbone breweries along with 2 Michelob products. Tours of Henry's reconstructed home, original law office and other historical buildings will be offered throughout the day. Ticket price includes authentic bluegrass music, a 16 oz Pilsner glass or wine glass, tastings & 1 glass of beer or wine.
