Anyone interested in learning about how to become a CASA volunteer is invited to attend an information session. RSVP is required for information sessions to bonnie@cvcasa.org. Prior to being accepted into the training program, applicants must attend an information session. The next information session will be Thursday, May 7. The flex learning training format includes web-based assignments, seven in-person training sessions (including an orientation) and court observation. The next pre-service training to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate will be held on June 10, must apply by May 18. The classes will be held in the conference room on the first floor of the Monument Terrace Building, 901 Church St., Lynchburg.
