MOTHER-DAUGHTER TEA AT POINT OF HONOR
On Sunday, May 3, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., celebrate Mother's Day early and enjoy a beautiful afternoon at Point of Honor! Point of Honor, located at 112 Cabell Street, was built in 1815 by Dr. George Cabell and is an elegant Federal-style home portraying life in Lynchburg when the city and nation were young. In commemoration of Point of Honor's 200th year, come join us for tea, light refreshments, arts and crafts, and tours honoring the special women in our lives.
Mothers and daughters can pose for photographs, make paper fans, design their own china pattern, learn about tea etiquette, and enjoy each other's company on this wonderful afternoon. Activities and tours are suitable for all ages. The hands-on activities will take place in the Carriage House at Point of Honor.
