Experience two timeless classics in one unforgettable ballet performance!

Lynchburg’s Resident Dance Company premieres Act II of Swan Lake, arguably the most famous scene in the classical ballet canon. On a moonlit lake, Prince Siegfried falls in love with the beautiful swan queen Odette, who is cursed by the evil sorcerer Von Rothbart to live as a swan by day and a human by night. Tchaikovsky’s exquisite score is sublimely fused with high drama, iconic dances, and majestic swans that make this work a masterpiece. 

After intermission, another famous bird takes flight in The Firebird, set to the polychromatic score by Stravinsky. This vibrant folktale follows a dashing prince, a beautiful princess, and the magical bird who saves them all.

After the show, join us for an exclusive children's event onstage designed for boys and girls ages 3-8. A special $50 VIP ticket gives your child access to both the ballet and this private soiree where guests can meet the ballerinas, take photographs with their favorite characters, and learn new dance steps with ballet’s most famous birds.

We encourage children to sport their finest apparel for the occasion, whether formal attire, princess tiara, or their Sunday best.  

All-inclusive tickets to the performance + after party are only available in the VIP seating section (orchestra center) with free drinks and magical cocktails for adults 21+. All VIP guests need a ticket to the performance + party, and children must be accompanied by an adult; lap babies are free.
