Virginia Water Fowling Workshop -
This unique program open to ages 12-adult offers opportunities to learn new skills or fine-tune the ones you already have. Three hands-on 4-hour sessions in a variety of topics provide skills development for new and seasoned waterfowl hunters alike and include shooting techniques, waterfowl calling, waterfowl care and cooking, blind design and construction, decoy placement, decoy carving (foam), a retriever training clinic and more! This partnership program is presented by the Virginia Waterfowlers Association, the Virginia DGIF and Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center and is held at the 4-H Center located at 1267 4-H Camp Rd. Appomattox, VA 24522. Registration is open until September 13, 2013 and the cost is $140.00 (meals and lodging included); an early-bird discount is available before September 2, 2013.
