Event Description:
The Worlds of Opportunity Career Expo is an opportunity to be a part of the pathway that will attract youth to business with in-demand careers. More than 3,500 regional middle and high school students will be invited to attend and explore career opportunities for their future. Four zones, are identified as potential career pathways to jobs in our area. Each zone will provide hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities to create a relevant job awareness for students.

This career pathway resource is funded in part with funds the from U. S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) award (#: AA-32183-18-55-A-51) awarded to the City of Lynchburg on behalf of the Central Virginia Workforce Development Board. Additional matching funds
