Capps Home Building Center Announces Grand Opening Celebration for New

Altavista Location

Altavista, VA – April 21, 2026 – Capps Home Building Center, a staple of the regional

building community since 1978, is proud to announce the official Grand Opening

Celebration of its newest retail and contractor hub in Altavista. The event will take place on

Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1522 Main Street, Altavista, VA.

The celebration marks the culmination of a multi-month transformation, featuring a

complete interior and exterior remodel designed to meet the “Capps Standard” of

excellence. The community is invited to explore the newly redesigned retail space, which

now showcases premier displays from industry leaders in windows and doors, decking,

paint, tools, and more.
