Foster Fuels Awarded 2025 Best Places to Work in Virginia

Virginia Business has named Foster Fuels as one of the 2025 Best Places to Work in Virginia. The awards are held in partnership with Best Companies Group.

Best Places to Work in Virginia identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Virginia in three categories: small employer (15–99 employees), medium employer (100–249 employees), and large employer (250 or more employees). Foster Fuels has been awarded in the medium employer category.

President of Foster Fuels, Will Rohrig, said, “This award confirms what many of us already know: Foster Fuels is truly an exceptional place to work with a great culture, great benefits, and great opportunity for everyone on the team.”

The rankings were determined through a two-part process:
1. Company Evaluation: Workplace policies, practices, and demographics were assessed, accounting for 25% of the total score.
2. Employee Survey: Employee feedback, which measured the employee experience, made up the remaining 75%.

The combined scores revealed the top companies. This recognition reflects the incredible employees who make Foster Fuels a unique and standout place to work. Each employee plays a crucial role in the success of the company and enables Foster Fuels to serve its customers at an exceptional level.

Vice President of Human Resources at Foster Fuels, Amy Mentzer, said, “We are incredibly proud that Foster Fuels has received such a distinguished award as a Best Workplace. We are honored that our employees consider Foster Fuels an exceptional place to work.  Their support and incredible work ethic has significantly contributed to our success!”

To be considered for this award, companies must be a publicly or privately held business; be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity; have a facility in the state of Virginia; have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in Virginia; and have been in business for a minimum of one year.
