Freedom First Announces Brent Jenkins as Chief Business and Wealth Officer

November 26, 2025 (Roanoke, VA) — Freedom First Credit Union is excited to announce the appointment of Brent Jenkins as Chief Business and Wealth Officer. Brent will be leading the Private Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Business Banking, and Treasury teams in his new role.

As Chief Business and Wealth Officer, Brent will work with his teams to develop high-end experiences and provide exceptional service to our members. “I’ve seen firsthand how being a local institution allows us to provide personalized service to meet members where they are. Freedom First is truly a place that anyone can bank for good,” said Jenkins.

Brent joined Freedom First in 2015 as a Business Banker before moving to Commercial Lending. In 2021, he played a key role in expanding the Credit Union into Lynchburg, quickly growing the market to over $250 million in assets. Last year, he stepped into his current role of Senior Commercial Banking Executive.

As Brent begins his new responsibilities, he will continue to create unique opportunities for our members and strengthen the local relationships we have with the Roanoke, New River Valley, and Lynchburg communities.
