Impact Living Services is thrilled to announce Impact Prom 2024 on Saturday, April 27th at 5 pm at the Lynchburg City Armory in Lynchburg, VA. This empowering and memorable prom event is for the young adults aging out of foster care participating in our Independent Living Program. Youth will travel from across Virginia to enjoy this fun event, themed "On Cloud 9." The prom aims to provide a joyous celebration for young adults navigating the critical transition from foster care to adulthood. It seeks to create a night where the youth feel special, honored, and celebrated. The private event will include dinner and dancing with a live DJ. 

The Independent Living Program provides comprehensive, supportive services for 17 to 21-year-old foster youth. Alongside basic needs of furnished apartments, weekly grocery allowance, monthly phone allowance, and transportation to scheduled appointments, young adults in the program also receive the structured relationship networks needed to thrive. Impact Living Services provides Independent Living sites in Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Richmond, Roanoke, and Virginia Beach.
