See story in Smith Mountain Eagle...Loper Financial, which offers wealth management and retirement planning, has opened in Moneta/Westlake. The Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the new location on Dec. 10th. Community members, businesses, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, friends and families came out to welcome Abe Loper and his staff to the area. 

During the ribbon cutting, Loper presented a $1,000 donation to Brian Keaton, Sr. on behalf of American Legion Post #62 Smith Mountain Lake. "The American Legion is one of my favorite charities," said Loper. "When I came to this community, Brian was one of the first people who welcomed me in." 

This is the second location for Loper, who also has an office in Lynchburg.
