Enjoy the Feast, Recycle the Grease This Holiday Season
In anticipation of the holiday season, Lynchburg Water Resources (LWR) and Bedford Regional Water Authority (BRWA) have partnered to encourage citizens to properly dispose of cooking fats, oils, and grease by giving away free disposal kits that can be used to contain the drippings from holiday meals and be returned to water either provider for sustainable disposal. The popular large dog area at Lynchburg Dog Park (515 Monticello Avenue) will undergo essential repairs and maintenance from November 12, 2024, through January 1, 2025, to enhance the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and their furry friends. This project is part of our commitment to providing high-quality spaces for Lynchburg’s pet-loving community.
