Horizon promotes importance of responsible gifting this holiday season

 Lynchburg, VA – Access to gambling has expanded dramatically in recent years, especially among children, and early exposure to gambling practices can have lasting impacts on the developing brain, even leading to gambling addiction (American Psychological Association, 2023). Research from the National Council on Problem Gambling also indicates that two million American adults in the U.S. meet severe gambling criteria and four to six million meet mild or moderate gambling criteria.  In line
