Koubi leads the organization's strategy and operations in collaboration with the President and CEO and directly overseeing activities related to economic competitiveness, international trade, incentives, research, IT, fiscal operations, and human resources.

Virginia is at the pinnacle of rankings for business being named Top State for Business as noted last July by CNBC.  Our region leverages this ranking for recruitment and retention of key talent and industries.  But, with all the changes being proposed through the General Assembly this year, we're in jeopardy of losing the top spot.
